We have an existing wall with an existing window. We want to demo the window. We have it show up as dashed on our demo plans. That's fine. What I can't get it to do is show on the new construction filter as a shaded wall (25% fill or something). We want the wall area where the window was to have a fill, so it is obvious to the builder that they need to fill in the wall there.
Can this be done? We currently have 3 filters; existing, demo, new construction.

In the New Construction filter the opening will show as the wall's default settings, as if it was a new wall, so if the wall is set to empty fill, that is what will show. I don't know any way around this (short of placing a fill manually).

Steven:
In order to get the fill for the demo opening, in the Renovation Filter Options: New Elements must be set to Override with the Fill Type option selected in the Renovation Override Styles: New Elements dialog box.

Won't that make all new elements the same?
