How do I set the roof to show the shingle fill?

Lilian:

One possibility: look at MVO > Override Fill Display > Override Cover Fills (this has been moved to Graphic Overrides in AC20).

I am still having trouble getting the fill onto the roof plan even though I have unchecked the fills in the model view option/override fill display.....

It could be a Renovation Filter.
Is it an element to be demolished?

See if Roof Settings > Floor Plan and Section > Floor Plan Display > Floor Plan Display is set to Outlines Only.
