Roof window

Hi everyone !
I noticed that when I try to place a roof window on a roof, it doesn't work the way it used to with Archicad 7.
The window doesn't "link" with the roof.
A few friends of mine have the same bug.
What about you ?

Make sure you are using the skylight placement tool located with the windows, door, and corner window flyout menu. Using the skylight as an object will not work properly. Been discussed on the formum quite a few times. Please do a search before posting a problem.

Thank you for the reply, as you guessed I was using the library menu to insert my window.
Talking about the forum, I had been through a search with the "roof window" terms and it did not help.I should have thought about the "skylight" term, but this is not my native tongue...sorry
I'll investigate further next time

Carrere; I don't mean to be too hard on you about the search. I too have tried to find things in the search, knowing that the information is there, only to strike out. Was meant only to be a reminder. Happy designing!
