SLOW ArchiCAD 22 (when generating making sections and elevations)

Hello,
I know there have been threads on this subject - but I see those i found point to CPU charts and illustrates what happens when AC takes sections - i.e. CPU spikes as expected.

How do I ensure I get the most out of my machine in terms of what I need to set and so on ?
Do I need to point or set up the graphics card to do anything in particular ?
Machine specs are not the issue:

Intel Core i7-6850K CPU @ 3.60GHz
Nvidia Graphics card Ge-Force GTX 970

WINDOWS 7 PROFESSIONAL sp1

Did you have some SEO between your mesh and your building ?
Can you try to delete all of them and telle me if you can open your sections and elevations faster ?

Have you used Solid Element Operations (SOE) to cut into your site? SOEs can add a substantial number of polygons when applied to complex forms including non-flat meshes.

Not sure what your trying to say here.
No, there are no SEOs.

Perhaps its the placed trees which are causing problems?
In a new file from scratch - there is no problem. But at the same time- the file in question is not exactly heavy on detail either.

If they are 'real' trees with individual leaves, this can create many, many polygons which will slow down sections, elevations and 3D.
Simply turn the tree layer off and see if that is the problem.
Also if you have installed the 'Goodies' add-ons, you can use the polycount add-on to see just how many polygons there are in the trees.
