Screening Lineweights

Does anyone know if I can sreen som eof my lineweights so that the yare not so solid?

We used to do it in auto CAD and we like the look of them, for example we screened our greys to 50 %, 20% et....

You can change your lineweights however you like in Plotmaker.

Just make sure the lines you want to make gray are different pen numbers than the ones you want to make black.

If you search the forum you will find Matthew Lohden, Link, and I all have several posts discussing this.

I do it through plotmaker. You need to be using a separate pen for the items you want to screen, because everything that uses that pen will be screened. You also can't be outputting in plotmaker using "uniform pens and colors" or choosing "all colors to black". Link has posted some good tips on achieving this, but I don't have url to post - you might search the archives and see what you find.

There's lots to read in the archives about tricks (and good practices) with pens. I've also just posted some stuff here that you might find helpful.
