Section Problems

I am having problems with the section line tool. When I select a limited horizontal depth I cannot see the line that controls the depth, as well I seems from the section that I really have a zero depth section. How do I change this since i cannot see the line? It will change to infinite and that works, as well as zero, but limited does not work.

Any thoughts?

It's an option in the display settings (to show the limited depth line of sections). I need to restart my WinDoze $oftware. I'll see if I can get you more specific info when I restart.
