Beams not showing in section or 3d

Im trying to get a beam to show in section. I know it is there from the blue line and black dot. I can see the columns it needs to connect to.

The Building Material material priority will need to be higher than the BMAT's of the wall.

Or change the Layer intersection priority for the layer your beam is on.

is there a wall that doesnt show because there is a window the same size of the wall?

no, ive hidden the wall for the purpose of the query

Thanks you, I changed the layer intersection priority and now these are showing. very helpful.

Changing the layer intersection priority also means that you overide the material priority with other elements like the wall.

Decide what is your hierarchy in matters of settings.
