See Selected Element in a 2D also in 3D

Hello Everyone!

I am new to Archicad and I have a question to ask please.

I want to see  a selected element in 2d ( which will be highlighted in green) also in the 3d view with the green highlight. Is there any option like this ?

With Revit it is automatically done. I mean when you select an element in a plan view, if you go to 3d view tab you still can see that element marked with a pointer on it. is this option also available in Archicad?

Hi!

You should be able to select your element in plan, right click and click Show Selection in 3D. Then, once in 3D, select the element (which should be the only thing you see), right click again and click Show All. That should reveal everything in 3D, and still have your element selected.

Kind regards

Hi and welcome to Archicad!

As far as I know this is only available in Archicad 25. There you just select the element, right click and click Select in 3D.

Kind regards

Kaj

Thank you So much for your response Kaj. Then do you have any suggestion of what to do in Archicad 24 ? because I need to select a element in 2d and find it in 3d and vise versa.

Sincerely,

Ehsan
