This way other users can realise the real potential of this powerful new tool.
Here are a few examples to start this tread.
Maybe it would be better if the Moderator could merge these two treads ?
Thanks.

-- i created a circle polyline,
-- then placed normal round columns evenly around the perimeter of the circle.
-- then in 3d, i chose each column one by one and selected the top node,
-- i chose the shift command and dragged the node, so it moved over the next column top. did the same for the others.
-- then copied the columns and flipped the direction, so i got the x crossing.
-- Now I can just copy this up onto the next levels... i hope.

here is a quick shot of my archicad tree, stilll growing.
I have a little question, now that I am building this web, can i fill in the spaced with a facade, would be super cool to drop some glass into this?

If thickness isn't an issue, you could also use mesh tool.
If your shape is simple (like my circular example), you can copy a lot of things around and it should be relatively fast. If you want a more free flowing shape like the one you posted, it'll likely be a lot of work with most triangle being unique shapes.

its easy to pick the node points from top and bottom of each column, thats ok but locking facade nodes into the intersection of columns, thats tricks i think ?...

it seems like you have to have a crossing of columns to achieve this form.
then my question is, when creating a filling. ie. facade or mesh.....
then i have to have my 4 corner points NODES to pick and i dont think this will work will trying my best to select column intersections ?
