Shift Lock stopped working

Hey guys,

Newbie here. I've been working the last few days continuing to learn ArchiCAD. For some reason, a short while ago "Shift Lock" stopped working. By that, I mean, that if I hold the mouse in a certain direction, let's say 45 degrees, and the orange guide pops up, I used to be able to hold shift and then snap to something else.

Now shift does nothing. Did I disable this somehow? How do I enable it again?

Thanks

P.S. Using ArchiCAD 12

dcerezo:

You should check your settings under Work Environment > User Preference Schemes > Mouse Constraints and Methods. If the settings are correct, there is a chance that restarting ArchiCAD will solve a problem like this.

Hi David,

I checked the mouse constraints and I couldn't find anything there that worked.

I ended up restarting ArchiCAD with the default template and that worked.

Thanks.

It got back to normal probably not because of the default Template but because of the default Work Environment. The WE stores such settings.
Next time you can just go to the Work Environment Dialog ans switch back to the Standard 12 Profile.
