Site Plan

Hi, I am using the Australian template and would like to know the best way to go about setting up a view for a site plan. For example, so that the view is showing the roof plan plus the site and planting. Any advise appreciated.

One option is to create a 3D Document. Go to Parallel Projection Settings, set to Top View, set the Camera Azimuth to 270˚, and open the 3D Window, you should have a top down view of the model. Now right-click and select New 3D Document from 3D... and create a 3D Document from the 3D Window.

I create a 3D view looking down onto the site. Use the plan icon in the 3D menu.

Then create a 3D document and adjust the settings for colours, vector fills and shadows to give you the style you want. Maybe use a graphic override to change the presentation further if you want. You can then use text, labels, dimensions and levels and everything is live linked to the model
