Skewed Scale In Section Window?

Can anyone think of a way to skew the scale in the section window? I have a bunch of road profiles to do and want to model everything involved. Typicaly engineers use a different scale in the verticle direction than in the horiziontal direction in this case. If it can't be done this way can I copy-paste to the floor plan and stretch the lines and fills? How about in the 3D window? Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I have a rough solution to my problem. There dosen't seem to be any way to stretch or shrink a bunch of drawing elements unevenly in the x and y axis, But if you paste out of the section window into the 2d symbol of a GDL object you can scale it any way you want then explode it to add to. I will experiment with this. Has any one else done road profiles in AC? I am also wondering if there is a way to do a section on a curve. This would be for a road profile on a curve. I think that will be a tough one! If necessary we would be willing to hire someone to develop an add-on or GDL object to perform this operation. Any replys are welcome!

It seems that what you are looking to do might be best accomplished in 3D with some custom library parts, but I would have to understand in a bit more detail. Can you post a picture of what you want for output?

I might be able to help you with this. What part of California are you in? I am in wine country now (just moved from Connecticut).

We are getting ready to do the civil site improvement drawings for a few residential subdivisions. We would like to model the site, storm drain, sewer and other main utilitys. Most of this will work fine with AC, AT and AF which we have. But there are a few limitations that are out of the range of my understanding of the software. Maybe we should talk on the phone so I can describe our concerns and some possible solutions in more detail. PM me
