Solid Element Operations

Am I right in saying that if you have done some SEO if you then publish it as a module for use in another drawing file you also have to publish with the module the elements that are being used to create the holes or slots etc?

Millard, sounds right to me. Can you confirm that this is what's happening in your case?

I believe this is what is happening , but I will have to check tomorrow when I get back to the office.

Would this (different storeys for site terrain and another for walls & floors for example) explain a rrrreal slowdown in executing solid operations.
I've also experieced a limit to the number of operations a roof element can sustain before it refuses to trim another wall - wasn't counting & know no way of checking the limit after the fact.

Millard,
Regarding modules and using SEOs to trim walls, the walls(targets) and the roof(operators) must be on the same story. Multi-Story Modules are placed story by story so the elements loose their relationship to each other when linked into a seperate file.

This has really caused problems for me because I always place my roofs on a story above my walls.

I suspect the randomness you're experiencing might be due to this.
I am having this same problem. I have an operator trimming objects on both the first and second floors. The operator is on the second floor. The good news is that when I turn on the operator layer (in the site plan), I can trim the objects (from the module) in my site plan.
