¿How can I edit the footprint of a stair by at least 2'? The program doesn't allow me, it automatically changes it to 1'1"

What do you mean by the footprint?

You can change the width of the flight to affect the width and the length or number of the treads will affect the overall length of the stair.

I think they are talking about the tread depth. Check the rules you have set.
