Stair : hiding numbering ignored on above story

Hi,

I have a problem with setting the display properties of my stair :

The stair is set to display on home and one story up. That works fine, the stair appears on both stories

In "Up & down. Numbering" i unchecked "Show numbering". This removes the numbers from the home story but they still show up on the story above ! Am I missin something, or doing it wrong ?

Which Stair is this? A Stair in the default Library or a Stair you created?
Some stairs have separate Show Numbering checkboxes for the 2D above the Home Story.
Can you show a screenshot about your parameters?
