Stairmaker "Lower Offset of the Landing"

Every now and then I need to remind myself why I don't use the AC default stair tool. If I recall correctly, each time it is because Stairmaker will not allow 0 in the "Lower Offset of the Landing" box.

Not sure if there is a good reason for GS to not allow this but I almost always want this to be at 0.

Am I missing something. I don't want to model each flight and landings separately.

Same here. Stairs with no offset on landings are most common in my work.
If i have to pick worst thing in Archicad from v 6.5 that is definetly stairmaker.
Why I can't make stairs like this? Or can I?

Can't you guys just a set a very small value that is just a bit more than zero?
For example, if the tread depth is 300 mm, then set a value of 0.1 mm. It will not really show in the plan and in dimensions but StairMaker will allow it since it is a non-zero value.
