If so you may have an option in GDL (COOR) than may help to map the texture correctly (can't be more specific as I don't have Archicad with me at the moment).
If it is just a slab or mesh then I can't think of a way other than creating a custom texture that fits the curve perfectly.

the road is created with mesh tool it's not an object coz it has an irregular shape, i'll try to use objects in order to apply that (coor) command in gdl ( i don't even know how to use it 😛 but i'll searsh for some tutorils)
maybe GRAPHISOFT should think about a mapping tool for archicad so we can create a fully textured model . this will make our work more easier and comfortable.

I used complex profiles and slabs to show details of my road. I don't know anything about GDL unfortunately.
Also, I can't model 20 different surfaces for each road type ( every new surface depends on the road width, curve angle...)
why bended textures doesn't work for construction elements ( it works only with GDL objects and need a special scripting) is this limitation due to the GDL language or to be mapping method, can this be corrected by a new plugin which present a multitude of mapping option ( like the UV mapper in 3ds Max) ??
Thanks

Easy if your road mesh is flat - just make the wall or slab a millimetre high and place it on the road.
But if your road is an undulating mesh then add walls (or slabs) that are higher.
Duplicate the mesh and drag the duplicate 1mm higher.
Give the mesh a negative height so the sides (skirt) goes up instead of down.
It will basically invert your mesh.
Use Solid Element Operation to subtract the inverted mesh from the walls (with upwards extrusion if necessary if the mesh is not higher than the walls).

I must say that GS has made a great job with the c4d integration, but if there is something missing, it is certainly the uvmapping ( the "align 3d texture" needs graphical , and more control enhancements )
