Stairs and railings

HI.  Whenever I add an 'Associative' railing to a staircase the railing reuses to be vertical. On the horizontal landing the railing and balustrades are perfectly vertical, but, on the sloping stairs the rail balustrades lean at an angle ('skewed') – not vertical.

I cannot seem to find any setting alter this strange behaviour.  If I use the 'Magic Wand' tool, this to produces the same effect.  I am using AC 24.  Does anyone know how to correct this, make the balustrades vertical?

Did you set the Segment Skewing field properly?

Hi Laszio.  You are obviously very intuitive; in the 'Segments' section it was set to 'Perpendicular'.  I changed it to 'Vertical', and problem solved.  Many thanks.

I am glad it was a simple solution and not a bug. 😉
