Stretch Walls

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi there, I’m new to this forum.

The company I am working for is looking to move into BIM and I am currently playing about with a trial version on Archicad 19 which is currently our first choice of program.

At the moment I am trying to stretch/ resize a polygon wall but without success. When I select an edge the only options that appear in the edit palette is to either move, rotate or mirror. I have read elsewhere in this forum to suspend groups and use offset edge however this still only allows me to move one wall section?

The offset edge appears to work with a 2D polyline but I can’t get it to work with walls?

Just a quick try.

• Select the walls you want to stretch
• Click on the node (black dot) that is shared by the walls and see if the palette shows what you want.

----
The palette is context sensitive and it will show different options based on what is selected and were you have clicked, for example it will show different options if you click on a node or a segment.

Hi,

I have tried clicking on the node but the palette only comes up with minimal options.

You need to click on the Reference line end node to get the stretch option.
