Stretching wall/beam by summarizing typed & existing values

Hello. Sorry for my bad English.

In ArchiCAD 12 after dragging one side of wall (beam) if pressing Shift the small cross on the other end of the wall moves to the dragged point and calculations begins from that point. Therefore if shift not pressed, typed dimension applies directly to the wall, but if shift will be pressed, typed dimension will be summarized to the existing dimension.

In ArchiCAD 15 Shift not worked like in 12-th version.
Can I enable this feature?
I know about Alt+Shift, but this is a little long and unusual way.

If you use the Tracker then make sure it is set to "Relative Coordinates".

If you are not using the Tracker and instead use the Coordinate Palette then make sure that is set to Relative by pushing in the Delta buttons.

This should get you back to what you are used to.
It works the same in all versions.

Oh and don't forget to type "SHIFT" and "D" together to enter the tracker or coordinate palette distance.

Thanks, but that not helped.
Yes, I'm using Tracker, and Relative Coordinates are always turned on.

For exaple I have a wall with length 1569 mm. I need to extend my wall with 300 mm and make it 1869 mm. In ArchiCAD 12 or 14 I can drag the end of the wall, press Shift+D and type 300.

In ArchiCAD 15 if I will type 300 (with Shift or without it), wall length will be 300 mm, not 1869. For 1869 I must type 1869. This makes my operation difficult, if I do not know the initial length of the wall.

It will always say "Relative Coordinates in Tracker" in the pull out menu but make sure the little icon next to this is active.
If it is not I get the behaviour you mention.
If it is then the user origin swaps to the other end of the wall and you can stretch as you want to.

Maybe there is another setting I am missing somewhere.
If the "Relative Coordinates in Tracker" is turned off then the wall stretches from the drawing origin and not the beginning of the wall.

Does your user origin move to the strtching end of the wall when you hold SHIFT or does it just stay at the beginning?

Here is an image of 15 with the user origin moving for me.
To me this is normal and I don't know any other way to stop it other than what I have mentioned already.

Do you have the latest hotfix installed - build 3602?
