Surface pick list cant be expanded

 On the old ArchiCAD versions this list is always expanded, on the new versions it is not and also cant be expanded on any way...I found this so frustrating, because I lose so much more time every few minutes searching for a surface instead of just picking needed one from expanded view, like in ArchiCAD 25.

Any suggestions ? Please bring this back, why changing this things ?

Hi,

You do have the advantage of being able to search the texture by name. I found that feature to be a godsend - for anything from views, composites, textures, layers, etc

Search is a must for these long lists.

I know you show 27 but 28 and 29 I think it was also introduces folders for the attributes which can help organise the list.

But search is even more useful with the folders as it will find what you want no matter what folder it is in.

Search is godsent, but imho no need to truncate the list.

What I usually do with these new lists is that I got myself into the habit of clicking the attribute button, then immediately typing the first two or three letters of the attribute I am looking for (since the focus will be on the Search field), the list goes much smaller and then it is easy to quickly pick the attribute from the list of search results.

With all of this money being spent on AI, the search could do with keyword functionality as you may not always remember how something is named. Being about to input a colour or description without it being baked into the name would be great.
