This is another quick survey to see what kind of internet connection speed ArchiCAD users around the world have access to.

If you have a spare moment would you please visit www.speedtest.net and select a pyramid nearest you to begin the test. It's quite a cool test and after about 30 seconds it will display your download and upload speeds.

If you could reply with a quick post in this format:

City:
Country:
Download Speed: xxxx kbps
Upload Speed: yyyy kbps

I would much appreciate it. If you have multiple locations (eg. home and office), please feel free to include them all.

Thanks for your time!

Cheers,
Link.

This is the slowest (and cheapest) version of DSL that Verizon offers around here.

Bellsouth #2 plan out of 4. Maybe I need to try out a faster plan, but being out at the distance limit I wonder if it would make any difference?

I might try after seeing all this.

PS Did you guys look at the Top 5 Countries list after getting your results. Japan is insanely high, particularly for uploads: 13,282 down and 6,207 up. Not too suprising that Sweden is 2nd, but I am surprised that Romania, Latvia and Lithuania are 3rd - 5th. Maybe similar results to Kliment's - in-country infrastructure superior, but pipe to the rest of the world might be slower perhaps.
