I'm placing a slab that is 6" tall. The material that I'm applying is 6" tall which is an image of tile. Can the material/image be centered no matter what the height is?

Did this question even my sense?

No, and yes.

Using the "Align 3D Texture" command under the Edit Menu allows for adjusting the origin of a texture map to a specific place. You could use this feature to exactly position the corner of your tile.

It is easiest to do this at a node.

I've used AC for 4 years now and I never saw that in the edit menu.

Makes you feel like Dwight snuck into your office and put that there when you weren't looking, doesn' it?

Also useful when putting salami on a pizza.

Since this is so important to ArchiCAD users, I am astonished at how few users know this feature. I ask at all my seminars and most attendees have no idea of the tool.....
