This is in the new ArchiCAD help (GS AC User Guide / Chapter 4: Element Creation / Visualization Elements / Section and Elevations / Placing Section Lines / Breaking Section/Elevation Lines), and I am almost sure it was in the 7.0 Manual... But a reminder is always useful ...

That tip about sections also works a treat for getting rid of extra nodes in a slab or roof! I just held down the shift key and slid the node(s) away; none of that wasting time getting it exactly on another node.
