Trimming 2 roof planes in AC18

I'm just moving from AC16 to AC18. It seems like the process for trimming single plane roofs to each other might have changed.

While command+click still works on roofs on the same story, it seems like the same operation won't work with two roofs that are on different stories, but that still touch one another. Is this something new, and if so, how are folks working around it?

Not yet, but I haven't done that much modelling yet. Could it be that they are multiplane roofs? I've noticed those don't behave like single plane roofs in many regards.

As a work around you can select both roofs and use the option to show selection in 3d and try it in 3d window.

Dale:

Works here in plan: one roof on current story, other roof assigned to story above with Display set to Home & One Story Down.

It should work the same in AC18.Have you tried it in the 3D window?

It was a single-plane roof to multi-plane roof issue. Still not used to the multi-plane roof behavior. Thanks to all.
