Trimming a wall to a GDL object

Hi,

I have created a custom dome roof in MaxonForm. When it is translated back into ArchiCAD it shows as one GDL object. Is there any way that I can use the "Trim to roof" tool as I would for a normal roof, as it does not show in the menu? Or is there another way to achieve the same result?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
