Trouble with selection

If I try to select several objects with turn key, thann it sounds alarme and it doesn't work.
Shall I install AC new?

We need more information.

Do you mean the "shift key" for multiple selection?

What kind of alarm? A sound or a warning flag?

It may just be that you are trying to select something that is not available. Sometimes locked or ghost story items will interfere with editable items that are very close to them.

The gohst storey can be one reason for my case.
