Turn off snap to a point cloud

Is there any way to turn off snap just for the point cloud? The point cloud has so many dots, it's hard to work with. The only result from searching was an option that is not available on my input constraints and guides.

There is sadly no way directly. However I found the Design Options to be a quite nice workaround. (Use the "lock passive elements" option).

Funnily enough this even makes the experience better overall, since the DO panel can stay and is not modal like the layers dialog. 🤣 So switching a PC off and on is easy.

Hi everyone,
I’ve run into this issue as well, and it would really be helpful if we could disable snapping to the points of the point cloud.
