Turning meshes into solid objects

can someone help me... i know how to create meshes but cant work out how to turn the mesh into a solid object... it only appears as a wire frame in the 3D window, and when i followed the instructions for turning a mesh into a roof... i couldnt find a "convert mesh to roof" button under tools

someone please help

Is the layer that the mesh is on in Wireframe state?

Is the 3D display in wireframe?

Are eny errors reported while generating the 3D?

no problems reported generating 3D

Dont know about the wireframe stuff but other slabs on the same level appear solid

look at the layer dialog for wireframe layer state.

look down the columns for solid or wireframe setting.
wireframe layer setting help identfy elements used for SEO and other tricks like see thru parts

i have found the layer thing but nothing mentioning solid, wireframe, or SEO

There is a problem with your mesh. I suspect the holes might be it.

Try not to cut holes in the shape of the snaking path (road?) but place the mesh a bit lower. If you do need to indent the road in the mesh, use Solid Elements Operations.
