Undo Roof Trim

I have walls which were trimmed to roofs, but the Undo Roof Trim option for each of them is greyed out and I can't undo the roof trim. Is there a setting somewhere which overrides the individual wall settings?

Just discovered I can use the Clear All Connections option in the >Design >Connect menu. However, the Undo All Crops in the properties window is still greyed out

select the walls that were trimmed/right click to get the wall option menu , find the undo trim button ( under materials )

Thanks for your reply - under the materials section there are words which say "wall is cropped by one or more roofs" "undo all crops". However these are greyed out and I can't use them. It only works by right clicking on the wall, and then going to Connect>Clear All Connections. This must be something associated with the new Roof routines in AC15, I think, because it always worked with AC13 and 14.

GSButler:

It is a change in terminology. AC 14 and earlier used the word "Trim" for the old Trim to Roof command (not SEO). AC 15 now uses "Crop" for this feature, "Trim" is now used for the new SEO like operations (like Connect).

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.

Thanks David for your reply - this old dog is gradually getting used to the new terminology!
I also thought I attached my signature last time - it obviously didn't update. We'll see if it works this time.
I really appreciate the advice and tips available on this forum - there is always something new to learn.
Cheers

It is there now.

The change in terminology was unfortunate, but will allow the SEO type functions to expand while keeping them separate from Trim to Roof.
