Unloading Module Files as with Xref

Nader
Enthusiast

Hi everyone,

I´m working in Archicad, and I was wondering if there was a way to unload a Module file from an Archicad project file, as we do with Xref files ...

ie: the link to the module file, characteristics and conditions are maintained but without loading the whole file to memeory.

Thank you

I'm not sure which version of Archicad you are on, but modules haven't been slow to load or update for us since probably AC21 or AC22.

You can set modules to skip nested modules to further speed up things if needed.

I also do not understand what you mean with loading to memory. I can literally delete the module files and all my PLN file will tell me is that it can no longer find the module, but it will still show its elements from the last save. So long as you are not updating modules, there are no extra load times.
