We have just installed AC16 in our office and it is my job to create a fresh template. My understanding is that you open a new project, start making changes to various element attributes (i.e. lines, pen sets, fill, composites) and then 'save as' as a template file. But then lets say we start a fresh project, and as expected we start changing things again like wall composites (we aren't always going to get the template perfect the first time), can we then 'save as' over the first template file we created without all the model information specific to the project (i.e walls that have been drawn in). In other words, if we save over the template file, will it just update element attributes (which is what we want), or will it bring in the specific project as well?
Thanks

You can use Attribute Manager to add elements to your template. Also you can define Favorites of different items and keep importing them.

Can you also adjust the favorites in some other window besides the little palette? I am finding that I am going through the same exercise but I'm trying to figure out how to make global changes to the favorites, which seems impossible.
