Vaulted Roof Resolution

Hello,

I have recently been modelling a few different curved roofs using the Vaulted Roof tool which is really good.

However, the roofs created are very "chunky" in that there are really not enough roof sections created to make a "smooth" flowing curved roof.

Is there any way I can crank up the "resolution" of the Vaulted Roof Tool? In other words, tell the tool to make the roof out of more smaller roof sections?

I had for one project, zoomed in and clicked along a polyline at short intervals to make enough roof pieces to make the overall roof look smoother, but I wondered if there was a way to make the tool do this itself!

Thanks

I think you are after the magic wand settings (tools menu). Personally I always use the profiler for curved roofs, much more freedom (and they look better)

Spot on, Ben! Thank you so much!

And I will try the Profiler...!
