View map/plane picture and linework in 3D

Hello guys,
how do I make my .png map (used as a site plan, placed by external drawing option) visible in 3D (generic perspecvite/axonometry)? Also I have traced some contours from a map with line tool, how can I see them in 3D?

If it's not possible, what tool should I use to draw like a... square? A slab tool? But the slab has some thickness, and I just want to get pure lines. Possible to see them in 3D?

Beginner here, please help me.

Also, is the morph tool a good choise to make a basic, steep road? Basically i mean a wedge shape.

You can do all this with the morph tool.
The 3d lines and showing the png in 3d.
For the 3d lines just use the polygonal method.
And to show the png in 3d you have to:
1 make a face with the morph tool.
2 make a surface and use the png as the texture.
3 apply the surface to the morph face
4 go to design menu> align texture and align the texture to place.

Alternately, you can use the "Picture" GDL Object. You only need to specify the width, height, the custom image file to use. You can turn off the frame. You can also rotate it in 3D.
It is only in rectangular shape so if you need another shape this may not be the best option.
