What is the different between a dashed line and solid line viewport frames ? Did I miss a setting somewhere ?

Does the solid framed drawing have the printable border turned on?

i've checked each one frame and they have the same settings as shown below.

The solid one is set to "Fit frame to drawing".
I just noticed they show as solid for fit frame and dashed for manual resize.
