Wall End Chamfer shows in plan with symbolic display only?

I was happily using it for full height walls showing symbolic, and now I need to use it for some partial height ramp walls and the moment I go projected or outline they disappear. They only show in 2D with symbolic?

You have to remember that they are objects, not walls.
