Hello everyone,
I'm having an issue with the 2D symbolic representation of a door opening in my floor plan.
I have placed a door within a wall. The door itself and its parameters are working correctly, but in the floor plan view, I cannot see the dashed lines that should represent the top of the door opening. The opening is shown as a simple gap in the wall without the overhead lintel symbol.
I've Already Tried:
I have systematically checked the usual settings but haven't found a solution:
1. Floor Plan Display Options: I've gone through every combination of settings in Document > Floor Plan Cut Plane Settings and Floor Plan Display > Show on Stories > Projected:
Floor Plan Display > Show on Stories > Projected With Overhead:
Floor Plan Display > Show on Stories > Symbolic:
Floor Plan Display > Show on Stories > Overhead All:
2. Cut Plane Height: I've verified that my Story Settings and the cut plane are correctly set and that the door opening's height is above this cut plane, which it should be.
Could someone please help me identify what I might be missing? Is there a hidden setting, a specific graphic override, or a display issue that could be causing the dashed lines for the door opening not to appear?
Thank you in advance for your time!
Best regards,
Hector

Leave the door as symbolic on the floor plan display. Then on the door settings go to Floor Plan and Section, then turn on the wall contour lines, and select the desired line type.
