Wall reveal

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hello Everybody, I was just trying to tweak some parameters of a door just to know how things work and I realized that my door was placed out of its host wall as a consequence of adjusting its reveal. So my question is how can I prevent my door to lie outside of its host wall ? are they some constraints to apply and how?

When you place the Door/Window you cannot place it outside the Wall body horizontally. That is a constraint. However, vertically you can place it wherever you want. So it is best to check it in 3D after placement.

Also, once a Door/Window is placed, you can move it in the Wall and you can move it outside the Wall horizontally as well as vertically.
So you just have to be aware of what you are doing and not do such a thing.
