Hi all, i've recenetly changed to using the railing tool when drawing nib walls up stairs (way easier/faster than trimming the wall with a piece of roof imo)
The wall below is the same surface as the railing tool but they are not seamless in 3d. There is always a line when the two meet.
Any idea as to why? i can work around this in 26 by creating a 3d documment and plotting a white line over the join but i'd love it if i could get it to join automatically.
Layers are the same
Materials are the same
Surfaces are the same
wall and railing are perfectly in line

The wall is obviously a wall but the railing is an object.
Surfaces of objects do not merge with other elements.

Just use a wall for the entire wall/rail.
Angle the top with an opening or Solid Element Operate with a roof or inclined beam in a hidden layer.

Or keep using the Railing as the SEO Operator and move that to a layer that can be hidden. That way the SEO Operator stays associated to the Wall it cuts.
