Hi all, halfway through a project, my walls have stopped intersecting properly. All the walls have undone themselves and will not join even when i try to re-connect them again.
Have looked through all the chats and looked into all solutions, none of them work. Is there a button somewhere I have accidentally switched on/off?
Thanks

View menu > On-screen View Options > Clean Wall & Beam Intersections.
You must have turned it off.

Hi Barry, thanks for taking the time.
That setting is definitely still on, have switched it both ways and makes no difference.
Any other suggestions? I'm so stumped. It's the second time it has happened to me and last time I had to scrap the whole project and start again in a different file.

Could it be the layer that the walls are in has an Intersection Group number of 0 (zero)?
If so then nothing in that layer will intersect.
You will find it in the layer settings, and remember that all layer combinations also remember this number.

No, they all say 1?
What's weird is that they were fine and intersecting exactly as they should earlier in the day, then all of a sudden they stopped?

The only other thing I can think of is the renovation filters.
Existing and to be demolished elements can be set to not intersect in the renovation filter settings.

Some are checked are some are not, I think I have accidentally changed the renovation filter to existing, which affected the walls.
When I move it to any other filter, the issue disappears. But now it doesn't even happen when I do that?
Thanks Barry, issue resolved for now anyway.
I will keep that in mind moving forward.
