Why is Archicad reverting the settings

Why is Archcad (8 version keep reverting back to scale 1:500 each time i put the scale at 1:100 for both floor plan,sectn/Elevatn windows as i try to import the files into plotmaker, in a similar manner the door and windows were always missing, i check thru the display option where the setting there was hide d/w on flr plan, so i choose the show d/w from the drop down list but each time i went back the setting will have reverted back to hide also the door and window will not show
Is there any way i can get over this
