Window dimensioning

How can I dimension to the center of a door or window, instead of the edges.

Thanks.

All doors and windows have nodes at their centers which you can snap dimensions to. They can be hard to detect sometimes, but if the door or window is selected the node is highlighted.

I don't have my dongle at home with me but I think there is a setting in perferences for the auto dimension tool. I think it is for this situation ( if you are using Auto)

Not. The node is on the other side of the wall from the highlighted center point.

If the door and window markers are on, you can dimension to them too.

If the Detailed doors and window dimensions are on in dimensioning preferences, it is even easier ...

Curious. I never noticed that. Sounds like a bug.
