Working with Coordinates

I am trying to learn more about how the ArchiCAD coordinate system works.

My ultimate goal is to be able to export coordinate data out of a model and use it for construction layout.

I would like to know any and all thing about the ArchiCAD coordinate system and if any cool plug-ins exist already that could help me achieve my ultimate goal.

For which construction program are you using (which file format)
Staad.PRO, Sap 2000 , Etabs, sta4 cad .



My friend use IFC format to export the archicad file to static program in 3D. Colums, beams transfer as it is.

For coordinates we are using C&G Survey which is a program that addson to AutoCAD.
