Hello everyone!
I would like to extend the zones in my project into the doors. I set the zone preferences to extend into them, but if my door frames are equal with the walls thickness, the zones don't extend into them. The doors floorplan background fill is transparent, so they don't cover the zones. Is there any way to include those areas into the zones, without changing the doors frame thickness?
Thanks,
Tamás
Operating system used: Windows 11 23H2

As far as I know, the zones will only extend into the reveal up to the frame.
So if the frame is the full width of the door it won't happen.
The only thing I can think of is to manually stretch the zone, but then you will lose any automation for updating the zone size.
Barry.

Why wouldn't Graphisoft consider this? Doesn't anyone else use the zone tool for flooring area/quantities? There should be an option to include, because flooring usually continues under all interior doors...

Archicad does extend the zones if the area >0,5m2.
