To make them reappear I need to select the zones, change them to some other category, and change them back to their category.
Sometimes the zones decide to display some other stamp (even though they show the correct one in the zone settings, including all stamp parameters and preview).

which zone stamp have you specified? and what are it's settings?

selecting all zones and changing their categories back and fourth and this resets all the zone stamps to the new version except all the data in the new parameter fileds is lost!
