blue layer in 3D window

don´t you how to hide the blue level (I think it is 0.story) in 3D window. It does allways appear when I click on "3D edit"...
I didn´t find this option...

While in the 3D window go to Menu-> View-> Grids and Editing Plane Options -> Grids and Background and edit the transparency settings.

Or just turn it of under View> Editing Plane Display.
