can't delete or edit unlocked and ungrouped object

hi! I opened project after a year. I think they were both created in archicad solo  (archicad 25 or 26 ) and I do have now archicad solo (29)  as well just latest version.

After opening the project and wanting to make change orders, the taps/faucets (only) can't be moved, edited or deleted. I think I have tried everything... unlocking, ungrouping, .. all. but no change.

I don't know what else to do and I can't hide them either.

Tried repairing the file? Maybe they are in an error state.

I think it has something to do with the fact that the (old) MEP modeler was integrated, but only to then ripped out again when the new one arrived. Now you have to pay extra to use that one.

The giveaway here is that I can see that the tap is not an object, but inserted as equipment.

Content already inserted can not be modified. It is weird tho, that the extent is that you can't even delete it?! That surely is not right. But only someone from GS can answer here.

Guess you would have to backsave to AC28 and remove it there?

I was thinking the same thing.

@cocoloco , can you select and right click on the object and convert it to an object?

No option to convert into object 😞

That makes sense... the funny thing is that, it's the tap 27, which is still part of standard library except it's not "equipment". thankfully, Graphisoft was generous to us, solo peasant to keep that still available. knock, knock.

the only thing that actually works (besides testing installing again previous version which I don't have time to try) is hide it through layer ( I can't change layer) Which is not cool because I had it in the same layer as whole house cabinetry 😄

strange.
