caterpillar roof

dear all,
can anyone help me by suggesting how i can go about building the attached roof in archicad. see images below.
the flat version is the first stage of my model in MAX. then this was bent to the final form.
Please note that the wave shape on either end of the roof is different.

I am afraid this form could not be modelled in AC. The freedom of modelling you have in Max is far beyond the AC modelling capabilities! Perhaps some GDL guru could script it but this is not what I call "modelling".

I suggest you to import the Max model into AC as 3ds - thus you could use AC for generating floor plans and sections.
