License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Is there a way to change the height of stories without moving the 3d parts assigned to that story?

No.

Whatever is on a storey keeps its relation to it.

If you move storeys, you will have to move the dependent elements manually.

yes , its as Djordje said if its connected it is connected ,

but i don't know if that helps , but you can transfer those objects to other level change the level hight then get it connected again to the original level .

ok the steps to do that ( if it is helpful to you )

- go to 3D window , isolate the elements you want to do this with , settings , change the relative base hight to ( to user origin ) instead of ( Home story). then change the home story of these elements , to another level that you are not going to change . ( we connected that to user origin to be sure that the Z value will not be changed when we connected it to another level )

- Change the Story level you want .

- so now those elements are at the same Z value , the story is changed , but they are not connected to that story , and will not appear there . so now your task is to repeat the same thing and connect those elements back to original story so it will be displayed there .

if you are interested , give it a try .
