copying from Archicad 18 into Archicad 16

Hello.
I have the following problem: I want to copy a line drawing from an Archicad 18 file into an Archicad 16 file. How can I do this?

Try Copy/Paste first if that does not work save 18 to DWG and open the DWG in 16.

Copy/Paste does not work. Saving to DWG does.

Or, your other option, for future reference, is to save in AC18 as AC17, then open it in AC17 and Save As AC16.
Most probably lines and similar 2D element will be saved back into the prior version without data loss.
